Basketball.

I have covered the Maryland men’s basketball team all four years of college and am currently covering its 2019-2020 season. I photographed the 2017 Big 10 Tournament for The Left Bench, and I travel to away games with Testudo Times to cover the Terrapins.

Roads are a record of those who have gone before.

Oaxaca, Mexico

I studied photojournalism in Oaxaca, Mexico, for two weeks during the winter of 2019. The markets and landscapes were full of color. However, the time I spent at a school called Capindo was the most rewarding experience.

Markets.

After visiting several markets in and around Oaxaca, I found that I gravitated toward the people who spend their days making and selling things in the colorful lively spaces.

Capindo.

I spent three days visiting Capindo, a school for people of all ages with Down Syndrome. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that taught me invaluable lessons.

Family study.

I visited with a family for three days. Three children, their parents, grandparents, a dog, a turkey, a rooster and two hens made for a fun experience.
