Roads and Intersections

Roads take us where we need to go, and every road has a story. Some roads are older than others, and some are nicer than others. Some are referenced in pop culture and have dreamy appeal to the wanderers among us. Country roads can take us home or lead us into the unknown while dazzling us with the overlooks and natural beauty. Others are purely practical, and the closest thing to scenery is the construction on the side and the car in front of you. Just saying the names of certain roads can elicit emotional reactions. Many people don’t appreciate roads, but use them every day. This project is inspired by the roads and intersections that I use.
